What People's Say About Place

A small Gem i found yesterday. Must say fast n friendly! Maxwell greeted us at the door, lol. The food was flavorful and wholesome! I recommend , authentic taste. I enjoyed my food as well as mom. Keep up the great work!!

Let me start by saying that I am Puerto Rican and as a result I tend to stay away from Puerto Rican restaurants because it is almost impossible for their cooking to compare to what I get at home. Banderas was a very pleasant surprise. The food was absolutely delicious. I was in the mood for some frituras, in this case alcapurrias and pastelillos and both of these were absolutely delicious, the best I have had in any Puerto Rican restaurant in Bridgeport and nearby. They both were filled with meat and the meat actually had flavor. After I asked for a small serving of carne frita (fried pork chunks) and yucca. The yucca was absolutely amazing, it was cooked perfectly, moist and garlicky with tocino (pork skin). Chef Michel is on point with his food and I will definitely be going back for more. While talking to Michel he mentioned that he also does catering (all types of food not just Puerto Rican). The restaurant is very small, the type of place you order at the counter and are served from the dishes which are prepared and are on hot plates. He has a counter with several bar stools and a few table areas. This is predominantly a takeout place but you can eat at the establishment if you want. We ate there and spoke with Chef Michel to hear his story, and it is an inspiring one. Essentially he opened his place in the middle of the pandemic and is making a go at it. Very inspiring. The restaurant although small has art work on the walls displaying Puerto Rican images and it is very inviting. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

I was looking for a place to order food and that's how I found this restaurant. I ordered yuca with carne frita, tostones and a seafood salad, (it's the first time I try food from this place) when my daughter arrived with the food I tell her; I hope I don't regret it, and so it was we were delighted. I asked my daughter how they treated you when you went to bring the food and she told me that they were very nice and talkative. I will eat their food again. God bless this place

The Banderas Latin Fusion cater for my mom repast this past week and the food was delicious. The chef himself delivered the food he came right on time so yes if you haven't tried or came to the his spot you need to come and try it.. BELIEVE me you won't be disappointed Thanks Michael

I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT IS NUMBER ONE RESTAURANT THAT RESTAURANT TOPS EL COQUITO EL MORIVIVI THE EMPANADAS THEY ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD THE PRICE IS WORTH IT I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT I PAID FOR ALL THAT AND THE OWN HE IS SO DAMN NICE AND HIS LITTLE PUPPY SO DAMN CUTE THE PLACE IS SO CLEAN I LOVE EVERYTHING AT IT

This place is the real deal. The food is simply delicious. The customer service is great, the food quality is top notch but the best part is that its fast service. You are in and out.

Thank you Sir for the "phenomenal " food you made for our reception. We have people a week later asking us about your food. We wish we had found you earlier. You have and continue to be a culinary inspiration for us. Our utmost respect and blessings and much continued love and success.

I enjoyed everything from the atmosphere to the food to the service. No complaints, I know I have my preferences but thats me the beef and cheese empanadas were stuffed and delicious and I have their popular steak dish with the beef stew and the beef fell apart so easily.
